Tax records suggest that Adam Krebs built the house on Lot 13 in about 1855.

Simon Luly

Simon Luly was a tinsmith who operated his shop on Lot 20. He was very active in village affairs and served as mayor of Miltonsburg for eight years. His wife was an invalid who used a wheelchair.

Charles H. Hinderlong

Charles Hinderlong’s wife, Alma, was Stella Schaeder Claus’ (Lot 45a) sister.

Oral History

Dr. Kaiser may have had his office in the shop on Lot 13 rather than Lot 12.

Dr. Kaiser married Mabel Menkel.
