Lot 43
Tax records indicate that Adam Bright built a modest structure on Lot 43 ($20) as early as 1846 and that by 1866 improvements of $75 and $118 had been made by William Johannison (?). Since the value dropped to $13 in 1870, when the property was owned by Nicholas Gambs, it appears that these structures were removed about this time. Lot values of $190 in 1895 of $160 in 1905 are difficult to explain because residents living in Miltonsburg at about this time make no mention of a structure on this lot within their memory.
